Government of Nepal, Ministry of Health and Population, The Department of Health Services, Avian Influenza Control Project invites applications from the qualified and experienced Nepalese citizens for the following posts.

Post: IT Manager

Duty Station: Pokhara (Western Regional Health Directorate)


ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Maintenance of Computer and its peripherals.

• Updating, trouble shooting and optimization of the software loaded and network.

• Collection of relevant, data from partners and sub-recipients.

• Storing, updating, organizing and reporting of data.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCES:


• Bachelor level or higher.

• Diploma in software development or equivalent is desired.

• Knowledge and Skills on creating database and its management.

• Good Knowledge of Computer Hardware and Networking.

• Good Knowledge of Front page, HTML and Java script.

• Knowledge of Computer Maintenance is preferable.

• Three years of working experience.

• Good Command in Spoken and written English.

JOB DESCRIPTION:


• Assist the IT manager.

• Entry of all relevant program data from partners and sub recipients.

• Typing and assist in the preparation of periodic reports

• Maintenance and record keeping of office records, supplies and equipments.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCES:


• Intermediate level

• At least 3 months training in computer application is desired.

• Good speed in typing (both English and Nepali)

• Three years of working experience in computer operation.

• Good knowledge of MS-Office package.

• Basic Knowledge of general office procedure is required.
